Rural Wedding

I have been really bad posting my weddings this last year, but I vow to do better in 2008. We will call it a new years resolution :)
I occasionally shoot weddings for Magnolia Photography and I thought I would post one Sarah and I shot recently. The wedding was held at a private residence out in the country and the location was absolutely breathtaking! Here are a few for your enjoyment...

After some pleading and begging by applicants, :), we have decided to add in a free engagement, or day-after shoot to the package! And because we love you, we are throwing in a nice 16x20 gallery print from the session! Sweet!

The cat is out of the bag!

Last year we wanted to introduce the wonderful world of lifestyle photography by giving away 3 lifestyle photo sessions, and it was so much fun!

This year we wanted to take it a step further, and think bigger! We are going to shoot a wedding, absolutely FREE! You heard me! FREE! Say goodbye to boring wedding photography and say hello to lifestyle wedding photography!

The rules-

-The couple must be getting married in the year 2008

-Send in a brief story of why the couple deserves to receive free wedding photography. Entries must be received no later than February 29th (after all, February is the month of love!) send entries to AMYJO@AMYJOPHOTO.COM

-Include a picture of the cute couple together.

-You can apply for yourself, or send in an application for someone you know!

-All entries will be narrowed down by dates we have available and by picking out our favorite stories! A panel of voters will then choose their favorites and I will announce the winner on my blog in March.

-If the couple is getting married outside of the Houston area, they can still win!
There may be some minimal travel fees depending on the location of the wedding. Contact us for details.

What the winner recieves:

- All day coverage of their wedding, personally shot by Amy Jo! If they want pictures brushing their teeth in the morning, so be it! And I will stay until the party ends!
- Online posting of all images in password protected gallery
- 20 page 10x10 album
- DVD of all wedding day images delivered with album
- Engagement or Day After photo shoot
- 16x20 gallery print from photo shoot

Wow!

Well, I guess you could say I took one long vacation from my blog! With the busy Christmas season and our own family vacation, it just got put on the back burner, sorry :) I will be posting some new pictures and a very exciting announcement in the coming week, so check back soon!

Conner Family

The Conner family was so great to work with! This was the first time the family had all been together in 2 years and we had a great time getting some pictures to remember the reunion. They were so nice and were real troopers in the cold weather! They have an adorable little boy that was full of so much energy and kept us on our toes! I did not see him for long without his favorite teddy and little car, so cute!
