I'm back!

We have FINALLY returned from our long summer roadtrip and ready to get back up to speed. Thanks to all of our clients for being patient as things slowed down for us. I have LOTS of photos to share in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned...

Trips announced...

We are pleased to announce our annual summer traveling portrait schedule for 2009!

This year we will be making our annual trip to UTAH for sessions, and for the first time, we will be taking appointments in INDIANA!

If you are interested in either location, please send us an email with your information and we will get with you to schedule a session. We are only able to take a select number of sessions while traveling, so hurry hurry! :)

New Staff Member

I have failed to announce the upcoming arrival of a new staff member at Amy Jo photography. I haven't actually met him yet, but he has a lot of potential and will be very cute. Of course, he will be in a long training period to get up to speed around here, seeing as he will be arriving at about 7 to 8 pounds and under 2 feet long. We suspect that in a few years he will be a big helper :) Oh, his expected arrival will be in March. We will keep you posted on his progress. :)

Utah & Oregon photo trips announced!

I will be taking my annual photo trips this summer and am delighted to announce that this year I will be coming to two locations, Utah and Oregon! I am so excited to shoot in these locations again! They both have such wonderful settings for awesome photos!

Bluebonnets in Texas

Spring has sprung in south Texas and the Bluebonnets are getting ready to show their deep colors of blue and purple! Every year I get requests for photo sessions with the Bluebonnets, and unfortunately, some of those requests come too late to catch the splender, so I am sending out an early warning :)
The best time to get pictures with the Bluebonnets is the end of March and first part of April. Besides being in a beautiful setting with the flowers, the weather is GREAT right now!
So don't delay and make your appointments NOW!

Wow! It was so fun to read all the submissions we received for our contest and learn about all the amazing couples and their love stories. It was so hard to narrow it down to a few couples and then to hand the selection off to a group of friends and family to decide upon the winner. But, they made a great decision and picked a very deserving couple.....

Well, I guess you could say I took one long vacation from my blog! With the busy Christmas season and our own family vacation, it just got put on the back burner, sorry :) I will be posting some new pictures and a very exciting announcement in the coming week, so check back soon!

a new year

I am so excited for the upcoming year! After years of doing weddings and portraits for friends, family, word-of-mouth contacts and doing contract work for Magnolia Photography, we are going to make the leap and concentrate on my wedding photography business! We have some really exciting things going on right now, including a new website, that will be up in a few weeks, new beautiful albums, and other fun surprises!
